Stuff Covered In This Video: 1: Removing the loosely fitted inner layers for adding more glue and screws - attaching the 1st sections of the last pieces of wood into position. 2: Sealing the upper seems with PL Max construction adhesive. The wooden squares located behind the large driver side piece revealed gaps we didn't fill in last install episode. 3: Sanding down all the inside surfaces, cleaning off excess glue residue and small chunks of expanding foam left over from deadening the steel cage and body panels. This increases how strong the titebond will stick between the 2 layers of plywood. 4: Installing and fitting first section of interior wood lining the shell. The cut was extremely close so the fitment is very tight A combination of self tapping metal screws and exterior grade deck screws holds the entire top, bottom and sides in place with loads of glue 5: Making the passenger side sliding door compartment safe for storage and bigger upgrades later on. Good area for mounting extra battery bank, multiple capacitor banks, anything to help the aftermarket sound system! 6: Relocating factory wiring harness out of the way of the box and trim panels. Used CA glue and Gorilla tape to pin the wires down and run them underneath the tubing near the floor braces. 7: Cutting down the sharp hardware sticking out from the slider track. No passengers will be getting in and out, so they're essentially useless bolt heads. Removed them with a oscillating saw to get really close to the bottom shanks. 8: Building a skid plate platform for storing tools and various road trip essentials like sun visors and spare waters. Used 1/8" ABS sheeting to nothing pokes through the polyurethane foam that's cut nice and flush to the electrical conduit for running RCA, remote and speaker wires to the amps. 9: Trimming flat the real panels that seal off the back. Keeping the barriers crazy strong while saving weight by using fillers instead of mdf of birch. Long strand kitty hair, fiberglass mat, polyester resin and lightweight bondo filler will increase density strength and reinforce the current enclosure boundaries. 10: Stock wire harnesses for brake lights, blinkers and other accessories got safely designed around with planned notches cut directly into the foams edges. If anything goes wrong, replacing is super simple and easy... ANYONE would know how to take care of it 👍 11: Reinforcing the last area of steel tubing on the roof, applying and tapering the loctite PL right into the transition of the roof to bridge the gap with huge amounts of rigidity. This method mimics how the braces have been integrated into the shells far. 12: Rolling on some Second Skin sound deadener above the rear amplifier rack area. Helping to reduce any extreme temperaturs on the amps with some added insulation in the ceiling. Took away that annoying rattle type noise, any unwanted resonance is BAD for system! 13: Switching gears into the front half section - b-pillars get a fast trim job, perfect seal to the entire cabin, and so much beefy material being applied next, the flex levels will be so low most all the spl energy will be focused toward the listener! 14: Running pull string through the electrical pipes / conduit. I used compressed air and some tape stuck on the end of a string to literally launch the line threw the hollow tube all the way down to the other opening. These install lines will pull the wires for my full custom stereo setup. 15: Cleaning cabins dusty spots like flooring, dashboard, door panels, cubbies and consoles. Preparing for fully custom built floor with better insulation and thicker dampening like a MLV mass loaded vinyl product like from Deaf Bonce Double Rigid, Ampere Vibraflex. 16: Gutting the rubber floors, weather mats, stock insulated barrier and headliner!
