Description: Welcome to "Ear Training" episode 006... in this ear training class, we’re going to work on developing our listening skills for the; Suspended and the Add chord types. These are going to be the Suspended chords of, “Sus 2 & Sus 4” along with the “Add” chords of, “Maj. Add 2, Min. Add 2,” along with the “Maj. Add 4 and the Min. Add 4,” We’ll discuss how each chords intervals operate around combining the tones that establish these chords of the suspended and add types. Plus as we’ve done in other classes, the focus of this lesson will also be relying upon; singing, recognizing, associating and listening for the connection of how the intervals of these chords come together to build each of these chord types.
