Description: Drew using Caran dache luminance (mostly) and some prismacolor pencils on Arches hot pressed paper. I used a masking tape to mask the eggs first and then colored the background using watercolor. This way you can use the full brightness of the paper to draw the subject and a dark background will enhance the contrast to get a shiny effect. Time taken -- around 3 hours.
