Description: If tree skirts are not your cup of tea, then maybe make a tree crate to take the place of you skirt. This box allows you to be able to decorate the inside with fake snow and lights for a cool up-glow from inside the tree. This box can be made two ways - collapsable or fixed (like this one) The client of this box wanted it to be fixed because she could use it all year round for other things as well. I made this one with an interior square dimension of 21" to accomodate the tree stand. You can also make it smaller by taking the measurement of one leg to the adjacent leg, but that will limit you to the orientation of the tree in relation to the box.
