I can't tell you how heavy the stock trigger is but it is off the scale. Having a bad trigger in any gun tends to cause inaccuracy with your shooting no matter how good you are. So after field stripping the FS9 and disassembling the slide, it was clear that the internals are very close to a Glock. Once I removed the Diamond backs striker and took out the striker spring, I noticed the OD and ID of the spring was the same as the Glock striker spring. However, the Glock striker spring is much longer than the FS9. So after cutting a stock Glock striker spring to the same length as the FS nine, I reassembled the striker / firing pin assembly and put the gun back together. The trigger pull is still off my trigger scale but I can tell you there is a noticeably difference in the trigger pull. In my do it yourself video I used a standard factory Glock striker spring, but you can find lower power ones available. I bet someone that is willing to experiment, can play around with these different spring weights and cut different numbers of coils until they get the trigger pull to something desirable.
