Description: One of Cyclops' lesser-known powers in the comics is his inadvertent ability to push off the ruby quartz glasses that hold back his optic blasts, if he "thinks about the logic of the glasses too much." Professor Xavier was always able to keep Scott from thinking about this by placing images of cool cars, surfboards and hamburgers in his mind - effectively distracting him for years.
