Description: Four boards that are all the same length can make a square. The thickness of the board from one side will just be added to length of the next side, so all seems right in the world. Now get ready for some disharmony: Six squares do not add up to a cube, at least not without adding angular edges. But we can work with it. I'm using an LED bulb for the insides of this, because heat is a concern. This first part should get you thinking about the associated problems with this design, but I have enough ideas at this point to say with some confidence that I will get what I want out of this eventually. I don't want to reveal too much more about what the finished product will be, so wish me luck, and sorry to leave you hanging ;( The holes: The answer is 7x7x6, not 7x7x7.
