Description: I can't make a video on either team (the Bengals don't deserve to be lampooned and the Rams have likable players winning the Super Bowl, but fuck Stan Kroenke), but there is something we can talk about: The sorry state of officiating in the NFL. It's some of the worst I've seen, thanks to a combination of new rules enforcing irrelevant shit like taunting (emotion in a football game? Impossible.), defenders being unable to properly defend (thanks to those wonderful roughing the passer penalties), and complete inconsistency in officiating (overreliance on judgment calls, refusal to use technology to correct potential errors, what constitutes taunting, RTP, etc). It just leads to a confused mess that tends to muddy great games, like it did in the Super Bowl. It was a well-fought match, but refball sneaks its way in and taints things. Two plays strike out in particular, one on each side. Refball plays no favorites: It just ruins things, like in this game. There's a reason why "NFL RIGGED" was trending on Twitter: It's because of the poor officiating job the league did throughout the year. This video is a mere sampling of what happened every week.
