Description: Part two of my tribute to the greatnes of retro glory. The C64 was the most popular and best selling 8-bit home gaming computer for around ten years. It was known for two things: 1 - Its huge library of cheap (most games were £2.99!) original games and arcade/cross platform converions. 2 - Its revolutionary SID sound chip which gave the distinctive "C64 sound." In the same way that the NES sounded totally different to the Sega Master System, the C64 sounded unlike anything else - and was technically superior (musically) to the 8-bit consoles which came later. Here are a few examples of my favourite Commodore 64 music, by some of the master C64 composers!
