Description: In this charcoal pencil tutorial, I show you how to draw a simple still life suitable for beginners. *** Materials Used in This Lesson *** - Pencils: Dark/black charcoal pencil (best to have a couple to work between) and a white charcoal pencil. - Paper: any mid-toned drawing paper (I use a mid-grey but a mid-blue, green or tan would work too). I use a paper by Strathmore. - Other: a bending stump, craft knife, sanding block (or piece of sandpaper). - Online photo editor: I mention this in the video for those that don't have a Mac, iPad or photo software.
