My videos usually start with me either sharing a tool test that we did or maybe a carpentry tip or a how-to video about building or fixing your home Well, this video is going to be a little bit different. . . I actually want to share something that I'm working on. With over 800 videos 40 million views on YouTube, you might imagine that I get lots of emails, messages, and comments every day; asking for more details, help on a project, more information on a video I posted, or maybe how to approach a home repair issues. I love hearing from all of you and I try to answer everybody's comments, I really do, but with a full-time carpentry business, I don't have the time to answer them thoroughly, or with as much detail as I would like. If I could make the day longer, I would - but as much as I’ve tried I can’t! I've always said that “all ships should rise in the tide,” and what I mean by that is this should be a win-win situation for both of us. Many of you have questions that you want answers to and believe or trust that I have the experience and knowledge to answer those questions. So I came up with the idea to join an app called Truly. Truly is an App that provides an opportunity for people to pay a small fee to be able to interact with me directly, and, ask me specific questions or maybe ask more details about the video I did. You name it, you can ask it. Instead of writing back to you, I’ll respond in a video. I think the starting cost will be somewhere around $25. All of what I’ve done on this channel is provide free content.
