Gumpaste is simply fondant with tylose powder mixed into it to make it more firm and stable. Check out the tutorial here: youtu.be/L77hWOXgPWY Here is the link to the tylose powder we use: amzn.to/3iAupEE *We use EDIBLE GLUE to glue all of our pieces together. It's made by simply mixing warm water with tylose powder. Check out the tutorial here: youtu.be/P60YsCM6UF8 *At the end of the video you see us steam our game pieces. The purpose of steaming is to eliminate edible glue stains, and to give our toppers a clean professional finish. The super shine does not last forever. After it dries, your decorations are left with a nice "sheen". You have the freedom to steam and re-steam whenever you'd like. You don't have to wait until your decorations are completely hardened before you steam. Check out the following 2 tutorials on steaming cakes and cake toppers for MORE DETAILED INFO: youtu.be/tUyyYP3Oy-s and youtu.be/70CN8t6xUNI (*The STEAMER we use in this video is now discontinued but here is the one we recommend as it's the exact same thing: amzn.to/36WdvrI ) *To achieve these beautiful bright colors, we colored our gumpaste using the "Electric Kit" of gel food colors from AmeriColor. Here is the link to the kit: amzn.to/2Nr9xQg *The circle cutter used in the video to make the purple jujube cluster is 1" in diameter. We rolled out gumpaste to about 1/8" in thickness and cut out the circles to ensure that each little ball would be the exact same size. It's a very helpful method. ***OTHER FAVE TOOLS & MATERIALS USED*** *Hand-held Blade: amzn.to/2RgPPrE *Silicone Mat: amzn.to/2RhglRJ *Ball Tools: amzn.to/2u3Pyjz *GAME PIECE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES : You can make these edible game pieces as big or as small as you'd like. If you'd like to make them the same size as we did, here are the weights (using a digital scale) and the measurements: ***GAME PIECES (We made all of these with and without stripes)*** 1. Yellow Lemon Drop: Length: slightly above 1". Weight: 0.1 oz. 2. Orange Lozenge: Length: 1". Weight: 0.1 oz. 3. Blue Lollipop Head: Length & Width: 1". Weight: 0.2 oz. 4.
