(continuation/final part)--- [#1] ***food & liquor*** c r i p p l e X d a n i e l j e r o m e. ——————————————————— started skating & balancing streetball back in 2001. eventually i stopped that heavy rotation for b-boy life (still in jr.+high school & trying to attend jams. the very end of 2008, i started creating choreography. met isiah where we spent tons of our days exploring this world of choreo & filming embarrassing things for the very fresh interwebs. this random clip was in 2011 w/ isiah...just new adult kids with time, having fun & testing to see if a double kickflip was still in my muscle memories. this was back when my body was still alright with moving for hours on 2 meals of mcdonalds a day, just cuz it was conveniently placed next to the dance stu...& a large sweet tea was $1 haha. [#2] ***the cool*** 0:28 c r i p p l e X d a n i e l j e r o m e. ——————————————————— in the beginning of 2008, when i was only breakin’ with a little bit of skating still, i attended a meet & greet where i stood in line for hours to get Lu to sign my copy of “the cool”. i was so geeked for this moment. i wore a shirt with a robot on it, just knowing how much he liked robots at the time..knowing he would comment on my shirt lol..i was such a kid, literally the only time i ever been to a meet n greet for an artist or been such a hardcore fan of anybody. this album + f&l influenced me so much..still does. this clip is from a freestyle session in 2017 (lol at being at isiah’s crib years later from the post prior). when I started choreo, i always wanted to create a piece to this song specifically, but you know how it goes...sometimes shit is so good, you are afraid to put a finger print on it because some masterpieces just never get that justice. it was that holographic card you never take out of the binder sleeve that already has its own individual sleeve on it for being to special/rare haha. year after year, getting older & growing with my craft i always revisited the song, albums..just to feel like a kid again. this one night i just moved to it..left it at that.
