Description: My mother uses Ubuntu, because l33t. Been feeling like doing some new PC builds lately and just so happened my mother needed an upgrade around the time of her birthday, so I decided to build her one. Controlling RGB and fan speeds from Ubuntu is tricky, but thankfully the Corsair controller has on board memory, so I was able to load up the Corsair iCUE software in a virtual machine and set it up, then just boot as normal. It remembers the settings, even without the virtual machine or software running. So if you're an Ubuntu/Linux user, you can get your hardware setup if you're using Corsair! Probably other brands too but haven't tested those.
