Description: Let's Build a 12x16 DIY Garden Shed with a Translucent Wall! We desperately needed to replace the shed that was on our property. The previous owner did not take good care of the garden shed, siding was decaying and the roof didn't even have matching colors! HUGE thanks to our sponsors for making videos like this possible and free for you! It really lets in a LOT of light, I am very impressed. Started with resetting the 4x4 posts, adding all the purlins and building and installing the trusses. Trimmed the soffit and the corners using 1x3 pine and painted the entire shed with a outdoor rated paint that matches the color of the house. Painted the shed now so that I didn't have to pay attention to keeping the red roof clean or taping anything off. Installed the Ondura roof and followed that up with the Tuftex white polycarbonate light panels. Installed the heavy duty door and we were done, very, very sturdy shed and I couldn't be more pleased.
