Description: Here's a fun jam on my fretless Cortex bass with some bouncy grooves with slides, chords, harmonics, fingerstyle & lobster claw plucking. I'm playing a Swiss Cortex bass with a single Nordstrand Dual Coil pickup, strung up with Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky strings. The woods are maple/walnut with a spalted maple top, these basses are built by excellent French luthier Paul Lairat. I used Darkglass compression & gain, a Rodenberg 707b booster and a Crazy Tube Circuits Time Gold delay pedal. The signal was recorded with the DI from my Darkglass Alpha Omega Ultra straight into my audio interface. I recorded the drums with midi pads & Addictive Drums, mixing and mastering was done in Cubase. Working on lots more, thanks for watching!
