Description: It was a beautiful day in the mountains, fresh snow from midnight, any track we saw (bobcat or mountain lion) we were going to run it. We were able to find this big bobcat track, and the hounds had it treed pretty quick. When it comes to cat hunting, we are really selective. This isn't like wolves where we work really hard to keep their numbers down, mountain lion and bobcats numbers are easy to manage with the help with hounds, and as hunters, it is important to be selective, and if we want to harvest one, make sure it is a mature feline.
