Description: Our shirts are available at 628-dirt-rooster.myshopify.com If you're not familiar with this channel, this is my dad working the long hive. He wasn't feeling very well on this day as you can probably tell. He is still having trouble standing and walking but sounds much better now. He is really enjoying the long hive he was given by Horizontalbees.com. This setup seems to be a really good option for those with severe physical limitations or even just mild disabilities who want to keep bees but can't lift heavy bee boxes. Horizontal hives or top bar hives aren't just for the physically limited. They work well for anyone so this may be something to consider if you just want something different or a nice looking decorative setup for your yard. The swarm trap at the beginning of the video is the Swarm Trooper from beetlejail.com I ended up not ever setting up the Swarm Trooper and since I've been too busy to run swarm traps this year I'm giving this one away to the first person to comment on the video saying they want it. I only have one so the first commenter requesting it gets it. UPDATE: (William KN won the swarm trap) Lume cube lights amzn.to/3vwYxpA There are no paid promotions in this video. The music is Marble Falls - Chris Shards from Epidemic Sound
