Description: So Bathroom Bills have been making the news a lot lately. For those of you who don't know, these bills state that trans people must use the public restroom or locker room facilities that correspond with the gender on their birth certificate. Advocates for these bills, people like Mike Huckabee, Pat McRory, and a bunch of other conservative pundits and politicians, maintain that these bills are needed to protect public safety. They say that, if we allow trans people to use facilities for their preferred gender, that it would open the door for sex offenders to prey on women and children. And if you buy into that argument, I'm here to tell you why your argument is wrong.
