Description: Here are four night routine mistakes that are holding you back. Mistake number one is not having a consistent night routine. A consistent night routine gives you the necessary time and space to decompress after a long day. It helps you tie up all the loose ends from the day, prepare for tomorrow, and ease into sleep. Mistake number two is not optimizing for sleep. A huge part of getting adequate sleep is going to bed and waking up at a consistent time. Optimize your routine for sleep and prime your body so that it’s ready for sleep come bedtime. This means practicing sound sleep hygiene. Mistake number three is not preparing for tomorrow. Taking time to ready yourself for tomorrow helps decrease friction and make your morning more efficient. A little bit of time spent preparing today can pay dividends come tomorrow. Lastly, mistake number four is not reflecting on your day. Too often we focus on the negatives - the things we wanted to accomplish but didn’t - and forget to appreciate the small wins.
