Description: In this video I show you how to use a simple layering technique to build up a beautiful natural-looking design within a 50mm silicone cube mould. The butterflies and daisies were both craft store finds (links below) and the artificial grass was purchased off ebay as a sample. Can you use a real dead butterfly? Well, yes and no. Iridescent butterfly wings completely lose their colour in resin, and just look black. They are also very delicate, and need to be properly dried out first. Unless you have experience of this, it's probably better to use an artificial one. #resin #resinart #resinace
