Description: Regardless of 14 wides, or 12 wides with Bora Spacers, we have every option available now - customwheeloffsets.com Want to run 14 wides like the big dogs but your wallet says you can’t? In today’s episode, Dustin goes over the pros and cons of running wider wheels, along with if it’s actually worth it. Watch along to find out if wider wheels are the right move for you or if you should just go with a set of spacers to achieve your same goal. How is Wheel Offset Calculated? The offset of a wheel is calculated by measuring the distance from the mounting pad of the wheel to the center of the wheel - if the wheel is mounted inward toward the center of the wheel, it'll have a negative offset, which pushes it further out from the truck. If it's mounted and tucked in from the center of the wheel, this results in a positive offset, which pushes the wheel further in. For the most part, any wheel above 10 inches in width will have a negative offset. What Are The Pros and Cons of using Wheel Spacers to Widen Your Stance? Wheel spacers work by pushing the wheel away from the center of the hub and are available in sizes ranging from 0.5 inches up to 3 inches. This can be a great, cost-effective option if you want to widen your stance without opting for a new set of wheels, as long as you go with a set of wheel spacers that is hub-centric (like BORA) to avoid vibration and potential damage when you're driving at high speeds. Wheel spacers do present some drawbacks for your build, though, as you won't get the fuller look that wider wheels provide in truck wheel wells. Are Wider Wheels Worth It For Lifted Trucks? Wider wheels, especially 14 and 16 wides, are a great option for any lifted truck build, as they can give you a fuller look in the wheel well and a more aggressive stance that wheel spacers often can't replicate. If you've got the money to spring for a set of wider wheels, that's definitely something we'd recommend - top options from ARKON OFF-ROAD are available in our inventory today, with free shipping and quick delivery available. 2017 Ford F350: @win34hawk’s 0:00 Intro 0:35 Giveaway 1:14 Wheel Diameter, Width, and Offset 3:05 Wider Is The New Trend 3:34 Wheel Spacers 4:01 Get What You Pay For 4:51 Bora Spacers 5:20 Pros/Cons 6:05 Going Wider 6:44 Outro Follow Us Everywhere: Facebook: facebook.com/CustomOffsets Twitter: twitter.com/customoffsets Instagram: instagram.com/customoffsets TikTok: tiktok.com/@customoffsets Snapchat: snapchat.com/add/customoff...
