Description: Elim Chan conducts an ensemble of Philharmonia string players in Anna Clyne’s achingly beautiful Within Her Arms. Clyne’s moving elegy, dedicated to her mother, is a meditation on grief and the search for solace. This piece was filmed in the Royal Festival Hall as part of a streamed concert, also featuring music by Beethoven and Mozart, with violinist Alina Ibragimova.
