Description: A mid August update from the plot. I've been so busy at work that I haven't had any time to look after the veg and some of it is in need of being harvested. The Onions could do with being lifted and dried as could the banana shallots and the garlic. The French Beans have gone mad again as have the peas. On a good note this is the first time I've ever grown cauliflowers and I am amazed at the quality of the few I have grown. Hi, I'm Dan and I grow a huge variety of vegetables for eating and also some Giant and Exhibition Show varieties for Local and even National Competitions. Throughout the year I will try to show how I go about growing my produce and hopefully give a few tips and tricks along the way. Whether it be how I grow potatoes in containers, growing basic veg for the home to growing a 10 pound onion or even a 100 pound marrow I will chart all my progress.
