Description: #TimeToWorship I remember when Acha and I bought our first car. It was a white VW Golf Gti 2007 model, which we nick named "Golfy". It was our first car that we bought and we still have it today! Don't be alarmed this is not a car commercial :) When I first picked up this car I was super duper excited and filled with gratitude for this blessing, because FYI I am a huge car enthusiast, and this was the car that I've wanted since high school. So naturally I went and bought all the car products to maintain our new car, such as buckets, car shampoo, kanebo, hose, tire shine etc. Because here in Sydney we wash cars at home ourselves to save money hehe, however I enjoy it! not only that I researched excessively on car accessories to make my car look cooler and faster. (Don't worry, I'm going somewhere with this). I actually prohibited Acha from eating anything whilst in the car as it leaves an unwanted residual oder in Golfy. A couple of weeks have gone past and I was still excited about our new car. I remember one night after coming home from work I decided to give Golfy a clean at 9pm at night. My father pulled up the street and parked his car after finishing from a monthly Pastors meeting. We both said Hi, and asked was your day, and after that he asked what was I doing at this time of night, I smiled and and said cleaning my my car. He paused, looked at me and said "You seem to be spending a lot of time with that car son". After that encounter I continued to clean my car. But strangely I couldn't stop thinking about what my Father said. Until it hit me, it seemed I was investing more time to the blessing rather than the Blesser. How many of us today have been spending more time with the blessing rather that the Blesser. It could be a new job, new friends, new career, new found health, new baby, new house or a new car!? haha. We must keep in mind that Blessings always come with responsibility how ever we must remember that everything in life must have a healthy balance. Especially to our Father in Heaven. I pray in Jesus mighty name that we can all reflect and ask the Holy Spirit to help us not only manage our time but also to tell us what are we wasting our time on, and that we can spend more of our time in His wonderful presence, close to His heart Well as you can see in this worship cover Acha is singing along side with me and this song is what we want continually within our marriage and future.
