Description: I hope the passengers on this Airbus A330 had their vomit bags ready and to be honest I am quite sure some of them were needed after that landing. If you like the rollercoaster you should have definitly been booked on this Airbus A330 flight from Istanbul which arrived at Amsterdam Schiphol yesterday. The pilots had to deal with wind gusts up to 40 knots and especially the strong gusts caused the airplane to bump up and down like a rollercoaster. I thought the pilots initiated a go around three times, but somehow they always returned to the approach path. Not sure if I have ever seen such a rollercoaster approach before. I filmed at Amsterdam during Storm Franklin for five hours yesterdan and in this video I included all results. Even a few planes departed on runway 27 which is quite rare. For an hour the strong winds didn` t allow any departures from another runway, although Amsterdam Schiphol has six runways. The Airbus A380 arrived before the storm reached its highest wind speeds.
