Description: A full journey across industrial Gujarat from Ahmedabad (Mehmdabad to be precise) to Mumbai (Borivali) aboard the historic Saurashtra Express - one of the handful trains in India which still operates with a RMS coach. Hauled by a lovely Vadodara WAG5, we traverse southwards through industrial Gujarat at a steady pace. The train has multiple stops but maintains a steady tempo along the way and encounters multiple crossings listed below. Also included are the crossings of the grand rivers, Narmada and Tapi, between Bharuch and Surat, as well as the Vaitarna river before Virar and the magnificent Vasai creek after Vasai.
