Description: Get a train ride between Ljubljana and Jesenice, central Slovenia and Austrian border. This special train travel takes place using two locomotives traction and a heavy Iron ore freight train. Iron ore is transported by train from the port of Koper on the Adriatic Sea to the city of Linz in Upper Austria. These trains usually have more than 20 wagons and the mass is about 2000t. This is train locomotive cab ride through one of the most important railway corridors in Slovenia. The Slovenian railways perform most of the transport between the port of Koper and Austrian railways, ie border train station Jesenice.
