Description: 40 Departures at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. All of these planes departed from the famous Polderbaan. As you can see in the first clip, there are no fences around the airport. The aerodrome is just seperated with small rivers (Grachten) from the normal area. That` s what makes Amsterdam so special. You are just a few meters away from a departing Airbus A380 and there is no fence between you and the aircraft. The traffic was quite good that day with a few Boeing 747` s and my first Boeing 787 of British Airways. Atlas Air and Cargolux both departed empty to Zaragoza / Luxemburg. That`s why they rotated quite early. Quite funny to see a B747-400 rotate way sooner than an Embraer ERJ190 of KLM. Amsterdam is always worth a visit and it` s one of my favorite airports in my area. Planespotting is very relaxing at Schiphol although they have six runways.
