Our first SPLIT TWIST BRAID ("0:25") is the simplest braid you'll ever do! You divide the ponytail in half, twist both sections inwards for a few inches, cross one piece over and join them in one hand, and then re-divide and begin again with crossing the two pieces inwards. Continue down until the end! Our second braid the FISHTAIL PROGRESSIVE BRAID ( "2:14"); begins with parting off a section on top and creating a simple fishtail braid. After braiding down a few inches, add in a large section from one side to the fishtail, and repeat on the other side. After adding in both large sections, continue the simple fishtail down a few more inches, and once again, add in one large section to each side. Continue this down until the ends. Not only is this easier than a french fishtail braid--it's much faster!! Our 3rd braid--The KNOTTED LACE BRAID ("4:52") is so lovely and so easy! Part hair on the side in front, and taking up hair in front of the ear on the larger side, divide the hair in half, and do a simple knot. Continue to knot the hair, while adding in hair from the top only to each knot as you progress from one side of the head to the other. When you reach to just behind the other ear, you can tie the braid off with elastic or do a simple twist braid down to the ends.
