While Disney has seen varying degrees of success in recreating their classics with the magic of live action, the 2D animated classics tend to be evergreen, achieving a level of fulfilment that remakes simply couldn’t deliver in entirety. While the 1998 Mulan was critically acclaimed, the 2020 remake has had to bear mixed review. On that note, our movie buffs at MovieHouse, in parallel to re-cherishing the classic, were also able to spot several mistakes, many of which can absolutely be swept under the rug nonetheless, given how spectacular the movie was.
