Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this great example of a 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon Resto Mod. Offered as a full-size model in the Chevrolet hierarchy, the Bel Air was produced beginning in 1950 and rode on the General Motors A-body platform at the time. The fifth generation later debuted about a decade later in 1961 on the B-body platform with an all-new body, although the wheelbase remained the same from the prior iteration. A facelift was carried out in 1963 with small trim changes again in 1964. This Wagon finished in gorgeous, flamed Turquoise paint scheme with a white top. Chrome and brightwork in great shape, paint is just as well also! This unique wagon is powered by a 350 C.I.D V8 that is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Nicely equipped under the hood with power steering, Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock intake, an HEI ignition system, power brakes and is equipped with A/C (however, it is not blowing cold). This Belair is also riding on custom air ride suspension with the tank in the rear in a compartment as well as the compressor and a subwoofer. The interior is fitted with turquoise vinyl bench seats, matched to the door panels, padded dash, headliner, and carpeting. Instrumentation is delivered via a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, an rpm gauge, and aftermarket oil pressure, water temperature, and battery volt gauges below the dash. Riding on Rocket polished wheels wrapped up nicely in Goodyear All-season radial tires with disc brakes up front, this "Resto Wagon" is sure to turn more than a few heads!
