Description: I love to design and create unique decor for my home using only recycled materials and often create one of a kind items such as tables and light fixtures using scrap iron and wood. I had a small section of wrought iron fencing leftover from another DIY project and when I found an old crib discarded on the roadside, I knew that I could use its wooden slats to design and build a unique light for our living room. We love the glow of LED under cabinet lighting and used similar tape lighting in this light fixture. My stylish and sleek geometric metal design mixes with the warm wood and soft lighting to make a beautiful addition to our home. Don’t throw away materials that you can recycle to create inexpensive decor items you will love to display in your home!
