Description: ♥Upside Down Oreo Cheesecake Minis♥ Recipe Ingridents: 2/3 Cup of Sugar 2 Tbs of Unsalted Butter 1 Egg 10 Oreo Cookies 8Oz of Regular Cream Cheese 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract Pink Food Dye/Coloring Decorating Supplies (Optional) Cupcake Paper Holders or Heart Molds All decorating supplies were purachased at Joannes 8 Cupcakes I know its super early, but Valentine's day is going to be creeping up next month so this is a recipe thats perfect for your special someone.. or yourself. Heh. Take the oreo cookie, and separate the icing from the cookie. Place them in separate bowls, you can either eat the icing, or throw it away, it won't be used later. Put the cookies into a plastic baggie and start crushing them. Afterwards take the butter and melt it in a small bowl. Pour the butter over the crushed bits and mixed it up. Set this aside. Preheat the oven to 300 Degrees. Then we're going to start on the main part. Open the cream cheese package and put all of it into a bowl. Make sure this is at room temperature for easy mixing. Take a third of the sugar and pour it in. Mix a little, and repeat until all the sugar is gone. Pour in the vanilla extract. After that grab an egg and stir that in. Mix this really well. & then your choice of food dye and give it the final stir. Everything has to be mixed well. Set this aside. Take a heart mold or cupcake holders, and put in cupcake liners or butter the mold up. Take the oreo cookie and scoop it in. Fill it up only 1/3 of the way, and press it down. Pour in the cream cheese mixture. Fill the molds until you have about 1/2 an inch of space from the top left. The cupcakes do rise a little, but then they deflate when cooled. Carefully place them into the oven for 25-35 minutes. If you're using a metal cupcake holder its going to take around 24-30 minutes. If you use a rubber mold like mine, its going to take about 35 minutes. Please keep an eye on these cupcakes, they can burn. Each oven is different. After they have cooked, place them to the side to cool. Once they have completely cooled, flip them over on a plate, and then put them into the fridge to set for a few hours. *They must be refrigerated before eating, because they need to set* You have to make this a day before or at least 5 hours before to make sure they taste the best.
