The house is composed of three bedrooms, an office and open plan living in 145 m² and a separate studio of 15 m2 intended for rental. The construction site for the house began with the excavation of the land to create a crawl space in order to install all the piping. The containers sit on 29 fibre-reinforced concrete piers. All the containers were fabricated on site to create openings for doors, windows and interior partitions. The house is insulated on the inside with wood wool, a bio sourced material. On the outside with 100mm polyurethane foam panels.
