Their dog is aggressive toward other dogs, and although he is well behaved in many other areas of his life, he was still sentenced to death by his prior trainers and behaviorists. This dog has been struggling with lunging at dogs, leash reactivity and getting into dog fights for over eight years. Dog aggression is a big problem to have, but we know how to work with it and get to the root of the problem. We know how to teach dogs to exist calmly around other dogs regardless of their issues. Working on a dog’s state of mind and understanding their triggers is a major component to rehab. We taught these owners how to better read their dog, address smaller issues that were going on, and overall just how to be more confident handlers. Their relationship with their dog improved in just a couple of days, and the clarity that training brought them all was beneficial for both ends of the leash. We know first hand the stress and heartache that come with owning a dangerous/badly behaved dog. We know that life can be so much better with the right training.
