Description: HIT THAT NOTIFICATION BELL! Yaya Touré joined Barcelona for €10 million in 2007. At the Camp Nou, he quickly established himself as one of the world's best, winning La Liga twice and the UEFA Champions League once. He was known for his tremendous all-round game, powerful runs from midfield and some memorable goals during his time at Barcelona. Yaya made over 50 appearances across club and country in a successful debut season. In his second season he made 43 appearances as Barcelona secured the first treble in Spanish history, winning La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the UEFA Champions League. He was a regular in a Barcelona team that went unbeaten in 21 consecutive La Liga matches. He also appeared in all 12 Champions League matches in a range of positions, playing centre-back in the final, in which he man-marked Cristiano Ronaldo and kept a clean sheet, as Barcelona defeated Manchester United 2-0 in Rome in May of 2009.He was nominated for the UEFA Team of the Year and became the first Ivorian player to win the UEFA Champions League. Unfortunately for him, during the early stages of the 09–10 season, manager Pep Guardiola favoured Sergio Busquets in the defensive role of Barcelona's midfield trio. This made him move to City in 2010 and where he kept on winning, raising the Premier League trophy three times.
