Description: The Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing team stormed into the Unadilla National last weekend looking to defend the championship points lead in both the 450 and 250 classes, and quickly picked up exactly where they left off with bLU cRU riders grabbing three of six podium positions on the day. Dylan Ferrandis kicked things off in the premier class, piloting his Yamaha YZ450F to a strong second-place overall finish. That makes an incredible eight podium results in eight events this season for the Frenchman, as he picks up more valuable championship points and maintains a sizeable lead in the title chase. In the 250 class, it was championship points leader Justin Cooper keeping his own impressive season-long podium streak alive, taking his Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing YZ250F to victory in the first Moto and fourth place in the second Moto to secure a gritty second-place overall finish on the day. Surging Star Yamaha Racing teammate Jeremy Martin was hot on his heels, locking up a third-place overall finish and his third-straight podium result following thrilling back-to-back victories in the previous two events. The title hunt will definitely heat up as riders prep for the final four events of the season.
