Description: Thanks for watching another relic hunting video!. We found this German officers sword on our metal detecting trip to the Eastern Front last July. We took our time in cleaning it, since it's quite a special find. We used electrolysis on the blade, and careful polishing of the other parts. Some parts still have a tiny layer of gold (paint) on them. The sword will not be cleaned any further, since it's important to keep the dug up look alive. Thanks for watching!
