I have been drawing comics for over 25 years and I still struggle to draw certain things well. I used to get really frustrated over it and now I just accept it and take steps to get past it. Sometimes we just need to accept our strengths and our weaknesses, then make time to improve upon them with focused studies. Other times we need to just give ourselves a pass and realize not everything needs to be drawn to perfection. Typically the things we draw well are because we have drawn them countless times before and have a better understanding for that part of our work. Other things we avoid because we have failed at them more than once. Getting past that is what makes you a great and resourceful artist.
