Description: South Africa Episode 25 ( from over a year ago) YES!!! finally, I've left Cape town! Sad to leave my family, but happy to finally be on the road! I had plans to get to a certain point that day, but I always just go with the flow. A fellow from a local motorcycle adv group had invited me over to his place to stop by to say hi. It was on my route so I decided to pop in. I met Karl and his beautiful fiance ( now happily married) Santi. They were wonderful folks ! Karl arranged a special wine tasting for me at one of the finest wineries in South Africa. South Africa is known for their world class wines, and it definitely lived up to its name. I visited the Raka estate winery. rakawine.co.za facebook.com/rakawine and met the lovely Melanie who let me taste a few of their fine wines. I then found out that Karl had arranged for me to do a shark cage dive the next morning ! Yay Karl ! Wow, I got top notch guest treatment, they even arranged a nice braai and invited all of their friends over, just to meet me! I can't tell you just how amazing my time in South Africa has been so far and all of the amazing hospitality. A supermassive thank you to Karl and Santi for being such super amazing hosts!!
