Description: ► Follow the full training program on Red Bull TV: rbtv.onelink.me/14zs/a6cbe3cd ► Watch Lesson 1 in our VALORANT guide on agent picks & team composition: win.gs/CISVAL This week on Class in Session is about taking everything you've learned so far and putting it into practice. Which means knowing how to jiggle peek and counter strafe, when to force, buy or save, how to use comms effectively (don't forget POSITION, AGENT, DAMAGE or P.A.D) and more. And vitally, VALORANT is so much more than just your KDA ratio - which seems obvious at first glance, but is under-respected in the hierarchy of things. Being a good teammate and putting all your skills together in a game of VALORANT is less about looking at the scoreboard and more about how you're affecting the overall match from round-to-round, with or without contributing headshots. Maybe you're the anchor, helping your teammates gain and hold sight so the defense can't defuse post plant. Or maybe you're a lurking type, trying to gather comms about where the enemy may be rotating and can take 1 or 2, maybe even 3, with you - making the eventual team fight much easier for your team. Not everyone needs to be a top fragging Jett to be the best most important player on the team. There's a reason why Astra and Viper players are the real MVPs of the VALORANT Champions Tour at the moment. More than anything, being a good teammate involves having a winning mentality. Even if you're bottom fragging on your way to platinum or diamond, you can impact your team by having excellent comms and remaining calm and cool even when it appears things aren't going your way. JUST REMEMBER: if you're having bad individual game, you'll still get SR if you capture the win. Make sure you're still providing valuable insight and strategy to your teammates, and progress will follow. We're here to teach you how to get better at VALORANT game and work better as a team with your friends, along with a major assist from Cloud9 Training Grounds Coach Renox. In this four-part series, Renox (Cloud9 Training Grounds VALORANT coach and Head of Coaching Quality and Training at ProGuides) will guide you — and a team of five amateur players looking to level up their game — through a VALORANT training plan that's all about teamwork, expanding your knowledge of the game at a high-level, and giving you the tools to go from being a solid VALORANT ranked player to truly feeling confident in your play at the higher ranks of the ladder. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This is Red Bull Gaming; your digital source for the latest news, tournament coverage, interviews, video features, and broadcasts for the Red Bull competitive gaming family.
