Description: Doctors are quitting medicine at a seemingly alarming rate. Some medical school graduates don’t even attend residency, others drop out in the middle of residency, and some attending physicians quit their full-time doctor jobs. Why is that? Is it because of the coronavirus pandemic? Physician burnout? Or something else entirely? As many of you know, I left my plastic surgery residency back in 2018 to focus entirely on building Med School Insiders and now Memm. As someone who has left medicine myself, here are the reasons that I believe doctors are leaving medicine, what's changed in recent years, and how it applies to you. 🌍 Website & blog - medschoolinsiders.com 💌 Weekly newsletter - medschoolinsiders.com/newsletter 📸 Instagram - instagram.com/kevinjubbalmd 🐦 Twitter - twitter.com/kevinjubbalmd 🗣️ Facebook - facebook.com/kevinjubbalmd 🎵 Tiktok - tiktok.com/@kevinjubbalmd 🎥 My Youtube Gear: kit.co/kevinjubbalmd 👀 Hand-Picked Productivity Tools: amazon.com/shop/medschoolinsiders 🎵My Study Playlist: open.spotify.com/user/1231934998/playlist/5joGbr1aQAIbMcJ9bOvJlk?si=iOAxgKNTQt-rrp1L8g-YWQ TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 - Introduction 00:37 - The Coronavirus Pandemic 02:31 - Doctors Leaving Medicine Isn't New 05:57 - Transparency 08:12 - Entrepreneurship 09:28 - Closing Thoughts LINKS FROM VIDEO: What I Wish I Knew Before Becoming a Doctor: youtube.com/watch?v=nhREwxu_FLk Why I Quit Plastic Surgery Residency: youtube.com/watch?v=PO-8tgx3UP8 So You Want to Be Playlist: youtube.com/watch?v=mu5WzOL8-O8&list=PL2ADAFpTg5aaDaa9GX90-DO0aBsGLY8jQ Day in the Life Playlist: youtube.com/watch?v=3fEPYSt4msE&list=PLTCN43UFAlBqtpf4MWCfaAGynmO5P3nOz How to Start a YouTube Business: youtube.com/watch?v=YWCaRjm2CUI #entrepreneurship #doctorsquit #physicianburnout ==================== Disclaimer: Content of this video is my opinion and does not constitute medical advice.
