Description: It's "black lives matter" versus "all lives matter" these days. Here's why all lives matter is stupid. It sounds good when you say the statement out loud. It's also a true statement, or at least a statement that SHOULD be true. But that's the point. We don't say "black lives matter" because we think those lives are the only ones that matter. We don't think those lives matter more or that others matter less. We say "black lives matter" because black lives are often treated like they don't. We say "trans lives matter" for the same reason.
