When Edge turned heel during the beginning of his feud with AJ Styles for WrestleMania, I expected him to return to the Rated R-Superstar. And I think many other people probably thought the same thing. Instead, we got a very different, but interesting version of Edge where he’s become the cult-like leader who wants to save the careers of failing superstars. He’s willing to take in anybody that sees his vision and accepts the help. Edge essentially wants these young talented wrestlers to use these failures and losses as a way to unlock their dark side that will help them win. It’s a pretty smart idea. I wasn’t a fan at first, but it’s grown on me. Damian Priest is the first person to join the faction. WWE has an opportunity to create something really special with Edge. There’s tons of rumors on people who will join.
