Veronica is Heather's "Kindergarten Girlfriend" if you will. They start drifting apart in middle school when Veronica persists on hanging out with Martha instead of teaming up with her on her quest to become an uber popular kid (with help of hanging out with the rich kids like Heather Mac) she's pretty jaded that Veronica would chose Martha over her. Friendship ends poorly. An even more jaded Heather persists on her rise to the top of the food chain. By the time they reach High School they are virtually unrecognizable to what they used to be. Veronica especially being much more withdrawn/antisocial which is why it took Heather a second to recognize her when V shows up in the bathroom with the hall pass in "Beautiful" Despite their previous altercation, Veronica wants in on the group because she doesn't want to be bullied any more. And Heather is willing to take her in given her latent feelings and wants to make amends (Til V starts defending Martha again, and gets with JD) Soooo yeah, hope you like it lol!
