Description: What If John Cena Formed nWo in 2012? Many rumors suggested that John Cena was ready to turn heel and form his own nWo faction. This is my take on how it would look. In 1996, Hulk Hogan did the unthinkable during his time with WCW. Fans were getting bored of his American hero gimmick. Hulkamania needed to die. He turned heel on Randy Savage revealing himself to be the secret third member of the new world order. The crowd was pissed. Everyone in attendance proceeded to throw their popcorn and drinks in the middle of the ring. It’s a lasting image of the three standing tall in the middle of the ring. Iconic is the best way to describe the scene. It kickstarter the dominance of the heel faction on Nitro. Hogan and the rest of the crew literally took over winning pretty much everything in sight. WCW was also beating WWF in the ratings. It was the most compelling television programming for a wrestling fan. Things did get worse overtime as the storylines weren’t making sense as well as the backstage heat between co-workers. The group also got too big and had a number of members. nWo got out of control and it was the ultimate demise for WCW. Regardless, it will forever remain iconic in wrestling history. The only other superstar to find himself in a similar position as the Hulkster is John Cena. He always received a mixed reaction from the crowd from 2005-2012. ' WWE even had rumors of John Cena turning heel. This is where I made a what if video of John Cena making that huge heel turn. However, there was on-going speculation that John Cena was possibly going to form his own nWo faction in 2012. WWE.com even posted an article adding some fire to these rumors. Bray Wyatt and John Cena also included a little callback to this at their WrestleMania 36 match. I thought it would be interesting to jump back to the 2012 timeline with John Cena turning into a bad guy, but creating a new time lapse. A universe where he forms the nWo this time around. This video will be covering the faction for a total of five years because I think it wouldn’t continue past 2017.
