Description: In this video we show you what happens when you open your instax instant camera in the middle of a film cartridge. ❤︎SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/youtube-photographyconcentrate Opening the camera film back in the middle of a cartridge could expose the film to too much light which would wreck the film (it wouldn't be able to properly expose an image when you go to take a photo with it). In this video we're shooting with a Fuji Mini 70 camera, but this test should apply to all Fuji Instax films and cameras since the principles are the same. From our testing it looks like even when the film back is opened in the middle of a cartridge that the film can still be properly exposed once you take the photo. In our test the first shot out of the camera after opening the back was ruined, but the remaining two photos worked properly. If you to happen to accidentally open your film back in the middle of shooting just make sure to close it as soon as possible. You might lose a sheet of film - but the rest might still be good! Note: we didn't test this in direct sunlight which would be much brighter than our room lights. So it's possible sunlight would wreck the film.
