Description: Things don’t go as planned as artist James Gurney paints a cake display at the diner using gouache and watercolor. First the primer (acrylic latex house paint) makes the paint bead up. Then he tries covering the background with a blue wash, and everything melts. It’s a race to rescue the painting before the omelette arrives.
