Description: Fambam, we wish we were coming today with better news but unfortunately that isn't the case. We had a miscarriage. The past week has been a roller coaster of emotions and we have been taking things day by day. Below is something Charlotte shared on Instagram that I wanted to also share here. Much love, Ced From Charlotte on IG - @ca.pt the last couple weeks have been a rollercoaster. i went from sitting in anticipation to the exhilarating high of experiencing a positive pregnancy test and sharing the news with ced, to the crushing low of spotting for several days that ultimately led me to the hospital with increasing pain and bleeding to confirm that i was having a miscarriage. i am sad. disappointed. heartbroken. i know it is not my fault, but the weight is still heavy. through the darkness, i have also experienced steady glimpses of light. i am thankful for my gentle and comforting partner who has grieved with me while supporting me every step of the way. for my sweetest girls who don’t know what’s going on, but *somehow* seem to know and know exactly what to do to love on and care for their momma. for the incredible community that has been intricately and intentionally built around me who have held space to process with me and to lift me up. as i walk through this, i carry all of the women i know and those i will never know who have experienced similar losses in my heart. my heart aches for those who have felt alone through their loss. my hope in sharing is that you may feel less alone. i see you, and i am so sorry. today, it really fricking sucks and the pain stings. tomorrow, it will, too. and still, i am hopeful that somewhere down the road there are rainbows of some shape or form for us. ✨ You can get at me here: 📲 Instagram: @Ced - instagram.com/ced/?hl= 🕺🏾 Tik Tok: @FootballtoFatherhood - tiktok.com/@footballtofatherhood?lang=en 🐦 Twitter: @ascedbyme - twitter.com/ascedbyme?lang=en Hey fam, I'm Ced. In my life now, I have to still keep the same mentality that brought me all the success in the football world but switch up the execution and game plan to become the best husband and father that I can be.
